DuckTales

DuckTales sends Scrooge McDuck around the world, and off it, in search of five legendary treasures. You choose the order of the lands: the Amazon, Transylvania, the African Mines, the Himalayas and the Moon. Scrooge’s cane is his weapon: bounce on it like a pogo stick to land on enemies and spikes, or swing it like a golf club at rocks and chests. It is Capcom’s 1989 NES game, and it plays right here in your browser with no download.

How to play

1. Press Play under the title picture, then Start (Enter) on the title screen.
2. Choose EASY, NORMAL or DIFFICULT, then pick a land on the map screen.
3. Walk with the arrow keys and jump with X. In the air, hold down and Z to bounce on your cane: it defeats enemies and crosses spikes.
4. Stand next to a rock or a chest and press Z to swing the cane at it.
5. Collect diamonds for money, find the hidden treasures, and beat the boss at the end of each land.

Reloading the page turns the cheats off again.

About DuckTales

Capcom released DuckTales in 1989, made by staff who had worked on Mega Man. Its pogo cane, its open choice of lands and its music, above all the Moon theme, made it one of the best loved licensed games of the NES. A remastered version came out in 2013.
