About Warriors of Fate
Warriors of Fate is one of Capcom’s great arcade beat ’em ups. It comes from China’s Three Kingdoms story: five warriors ride out against a tyrant’s huge army, on foot and on horseback, all the way to the final battle. Big crowds of soldiers, horses to ride, weapons to pick up and bosses with their own guards. It is the 1992 arcade game, and it plays right here in your browser with no download.

How to play
- Press Play under the title picture and wait a moment while the arcade machine starts.
- Press Coin (V on a keyboard) to add a credit, then Start (Enter).
- Pick one of the five warriors. Each fights in his own way, and Huang Zhong is the archer of the group.
- Attack with Z and jump with X. Press both together for a special attack that clears the enemies around you (it costs a little energy).
- Walk next to a riderless horse and jump onto it. Mounted, you are faster and hit harder.
- Break the barrels and jars for food that refills your energy.
Controls
Computer: arrow keys move, Z attacks, X jumps (both together: special attack), V adds a coin and Enter is Start. Move the mouse over the game to show the bar with pause, restart, sound, save state, load state and full screen buttons.
Phone and tablet: the arcade pad appears under the game: the stick, Attack, Jump, Coin and Start.
A USB or Bluetooth gamepad also works.
Cheats
Press the magic wand button next to the full screen button above the game. A small panel opens over the game, and the game waits until you close it. The cheats switch on a few seconds after the machine has started.
- Unlimited lives: you never run out of lives.
- Unlimited energy: your energy bar stays full.
- Infinite time: the stage clock never runs out.
Reloading the page turns the cheats off again.
About Warriors of Fate
Capcom made Warriors of Fate for its CP System arcade board in 1992. In Japan it was called Tenchi wo Kurau II: Sekiheki no Tatakai and is based on Tenchi wo Kurau, a manga by Hiroshi Motomiya about the Three Kingdoms. Up to three people can play together in the arcade. The English version, the one on this page, gives the heroes and villains new names and moves the story to an imagined land, but the game itself is the same.
