Scrooge's cane is his weapon: bounce on it like a pogo stick to land on enemies and spikes, or swing it like a golf club at rocks and chests. ## How to play

1. Press **Play** under the title picture, then **Start** (Enter) on the title screen.
2. Choose **EASY** , **NORMAL** or **DIFFICULT** , then pick a land on the map screen.
3. Walk with the arrow keys and jump with **X** . In the air, hold **down and Z** to bounce on your cane: it defeats enemies and crosses spikes.
4. Stand next to a rock or a chest and press **Z** to swing the cane at it.
5. Collect diamonds for money, find the hidden treasures, and beat the boss at the end of each land.

## Controls

**Computer:** arrow keys move, **Z** swings the cane, **X** jumps, jump then down + Z bounces on the cane, Enter is Start and pauses. Move the mouse over the game to show the bar with pause, restart, sound, save state, load state and full screen buttons.

**Phone and tablet:** the NES pad appears under the game: the cross, **B** (swings the cane), **A** (jumps) and **Start** .

A USB or Bluetooth gamepad also works.

## Cheats

Press the **magic wand** button next to the full screen button above the game. A small panel opens over the game, and the game waits until you close it.

- **Unlimited lives:** you never run out of lives.
- **Unlimited energy:** enemies can't take away your HP.
- **Infinite time:** the timer stays at 499.

Reloading the page turns the cheats off again.

## About DuckTales

Capcom released DuckTales in 1989, made by staff who had worked on Mega Man. Its pogo cane, its open choice of lands and its music, above all the Moon theme, made it one of the best loved licensed games of the NES. A remastered version came out in 2013.
