Nobody can stop it, except the road itself. A loose tyre slows down a little every second, so the whole game is about keeping your speed: ride in the slipstream of the cars ahead, pull out at the last moment, bounce off car roofs and keep enough air in the tyre to reach the next kilometer.

## How to play

1. Pick a tyre in the garage and press Roll. Your first tyre, the Truck Tyre, is free.
2. Steer between the cars. On a phone, drag your finger and the tyre follows it; on a computer, use the left and right arrow keys.
3. Get behind a moving car to ride its slipstream. The tyre speeds up there instead of slowing down.
4. Pull out of the slipstream just before you would hit the car. That is a slingshot: an instant jump in speed.
5. Jump over small cars, bounce off their roofs and roll under parked trailers by lying flat. The run ends when the tyre crashes, goes flat or runs out of speed.

## Speed, air and the slipstream

The tyre starts at 86 km/h and the Truck Tyre tops out at about 158 km/h; faster tyres go higher. On an empty road it slows down by itself, and a soft tyre slows down faster: at half air the rolling resistance is 60% higher. Below 47 km/h the speed warning flashes, and at 32 km/h the tyre wobbles and falls on its side. Three things push it back up:

- **Slipstream:** stay within 15 meters behind a moving vehicle in the same lane. The closer you are, the stronger the pull, and buses and trucks pull harder than cars.
- **Slingshot:** leave the slipstream when you are less than 4.5 meters from the car. You gain 12.6 km/h at once and earn bolts and points.
- **Close shaves:** let a car pass within half a meter of the tyre for a smaller boost; within 22 centimeters it is a razor-close shave worth more.

The tyre also loses air slowly all the time, and faster when it scrapes a car or drops into a pothole. Patches on the road give back 40%, a compressor fills it up and slows the leak for eight seconds.

## Jumps, roofs and trailers

- You have **three jumps** ; they refill one by one while you roll. Landing on a car roof bounces you higher, and a well-timed bounce adds a little speed.
- Land on a bus or a truck and you ride on top of it for a while, safe from the traffic below.
- **Lie flat** (swipe down or the down arrow) to roll under parked trailers. In the air, the same move slams the tyre down onto whatever is below.
- Cones, barrels and road signs can be knocked over; potholes, oil and a strong crosswind make the tyre harder to control.

## The nine tyres

Bolts you collect on the road buy new tyres in the garage. Each one has a passive skill that is always on and a special power that recharges during the run.

## Missions and breaking news

Three missions wait in the garage at a time, such as "reach the Bosphorus Bridge" or "do 4 slingshots in one run". Finishing one pays bolts and brings a harder one. While you roll, a breaking news ticker reports on the runaway tyre, from the first traffic camera sighting to "10 km! Tyre declared the fastest vehicle in Istanbul". After a crash you can continue with a spare tyre for bolts (up to three times, 250 bolts and doubling), or share the news story of your run as a picture.

## Tips

- Never cruise in an empty lane for long. Look for the next car to slip behind.

- Save a jump for emergencies. With no jumps left, a small car in front of you ends the run.
- Use the special power every time it is ready; the button recharges during the run.
