Every boss you beat gives Mega Man its weapon, and every weapon is the weak spot of another boss, so the order is the puzzle. ## How to play

1. Press **Play** under the title picture, then **Start** (Enter). Choose **START** , then **NORMAL** or **DIFFICULT** .
2. Pick a Robot Master on the select screen with the arrow keys and press Start.
3. Run and climb with the arrow keys, shoot with **Z** and jump with **X** .
4. Press **Enter** during a stage to open the weapon menu and switch to a weapon you have won. Each one has its own energy bar.
5. Pick up the small and big capsules to refill energy, and save the **E-tanks** for the bosses.

## Controls

**Computer:** arrow keys move, **Z** shoots, **X** jumps, Enter opens the weapon menu, Enter is Start and pauses. Move the mouse over the game to show the bar with pause, restart, sound, save state, load state and full screen buttons.

**Phone and tablet:** the NES pad appears under the game: the cross, **B** (shoots), **A** (jumps) and **Start** .

A USB or Bluetooth gamepad also works.

## Cheats

Press the **magic wand** button next to the full screen button above the game. A small panel opens over the game, and the game waits until you close it.

- **Unlimited lives:** you never run out of lives.
- **Unlimited energy:** your energy bar stays full.
- **Unlimited weapon energy:** the weapons you have won never run out.

Reloading the page turns the cheats off again.

Metal Man, Air Man, Bubble Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Heat Man and Wood Man. A popular order for beginners starts with **Metal Man** : his Metal Blade is strong against many enemies and cheap on energy.

## About Mega Man 2

Capcom released Rockman 2 in Japan in December 1988, and Mega Man 2 followed in North America in 1989. It added E-tanks and a password system to the first game's formula, and its music and stage design made it one of the best known NES games.
