## In short

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is the 1994 Sega Mega Drive game. Dr. Robotnik's Death Egg has crash-landed on Angel Island, and Sonic and Tails race through Angel Island, Hydrocity, Marble Garden, Carnival Night, IceCap and Launch Base while Knuckles, the island's guardian, gets in their way. Play it in your browser with keyboard, gamepad or an on-screen pad on phones, and switch on unlimited lives, rings or Super Sonic with the cheats button.

**How to control it:** Press Play, then Start (Enter) on the title, pick a save slot or No Save and press Start again. Keyboard: arrow keys run, Z, X or C jump, down + jump charges the spin dash, Enter pauses. Phone: on-screen cross, A, B or C to jump, Start. The magic wand button next to full screen opens the cheats.

**Sonic the Hedgehog 3** picks up right after Sonic 2. The Death Egg has fallen onto Angel Island, a floating island powered by the Master Emerald, and Dr. Robotnik has tricked its guardian, **Knuckles** , into fighting Sonic and Tails. The zones are bigger than ever, with new elemental shields and a save system. This is the 1994 Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) game, and it plays right here in your browser with no download.
