About Coreball

Coreball is a free online one-tap game that is easy to learn and hard to put down. A core spins in the middle of the screen and you have to shoot a set number of pins into it. The catch: a pin that touches another pin ends the attempt. The core speeds up, slows down, stops and changes direction, so every level has its own rhythm. 60 levels, from a gentle warm-up to a real test of timing.

How to play Coreball

  1. Tap the screen, click, or press space to fire the next pin at the core.
  2. Wait for a gap between the pins already stuck in the core, then fire.
  3. Land every pin on the level’s counter to clear the level. Hitting a pin restarts the level at once.

Game features

  • 60 hand-tuned levels: more pins, faster spin, pre-set pins and new spin patterns as you go
  • Five spin styles: steady, swelling, reversing, stop-and-go and a mix of all of them
  • Instant retry; your tries are counted and a first-try clear earns a star
  • Level list to replay any level you have reached; progress saved in your browser
  • Works with touch, mouse, pen and keyboard on phones, tablets and computers
  • No download, no sign-up, no ads inside the game; available in 11 languages

Controls

Phone and tablet: tap anywhere to shoot.

Computer: click, or press space, Enter or the up arrow to shoot. L opens the level list, M mutes the sound, Esc returns to the menu.

Tips

  • Fire in a steady rhythm. Hesitating usually lands a pin on top of another one.
  • Watch the marks inside the core: they show the direction and speed of the spin better than the pins do.
  • When the core slows down before a stop or a reversal, wait; the moment it settles is the safest shot.
  • Grey pins are fixed from the start; plan the first shots around them, because the gaps only get smaller.
